Food Jammers Christopher Martin and Micah Donovan subcontract the build of a 1/7 scale Trans Am in Hot Pot compatible components. Participants made woven pasta door panels, frozen soup stock chassis, sweet potato bucket seats, sushi mag wheels. 10 Participants were asked to gather with their scale parts, one tenth of the overall vehicle, for a pre-pot-luck assembly party, having not been in communication with one another. There was no fore-knowledge of how the vehicle would work, orther than the participant had a scale plastic part of the car on which to base their edible version. The exercise was part cadavre exquis, part sub contractual art project addressing the de-centralization and specialization labour, and part party.
